Legon beauty queen dies during photo shoot at the Oasis Beach, one other missing (See photos)........
Sad news reaching Bigtimerz.com indicate the passing away of one of the contestants of the Face of USAG (University Students’ Association of Ghana) pageant whilst on photo shoot at the Oasis beach near the Cape Coast Castle in the Central Region of Ghana.
Three other contestants: Faustina Akaime of the Kings University, Kasoa; Sharon Badonye, Methodist University, Dansoman; and the Frank Boateng Garden City University, Kumasi, who were rescued by residents are currently on admission at the Cape Coast Metropolitan Hospital.
All the five contestants were said to have gone to take part in a GRASAG conference at the University of Cape Coast.
The sad incident which occurred Thursday evening August 16th, 2018, saw the contestants being swept away by a strong tidal wave during the photo shoot.
Unfortunately, Lily Amposfowaa Asiedu (see her photos below), who is said to be a level 400 Business Administration student of the University of Ghana, Legon, was pronounced dead when she was rushed with the other 3 who were rescued to the hospital.

One other contestant, Sara Kwarteng --- a student of the Mampong Campus of the University of Education, Winneba --- who was earlier reported missing has been found dead few days after the incident happened with her body being washed ashore.
