I'm not a lésbian; I'm into men - Feli Nuna...
Afro Pop musician, Feli Nuna has dismissed any talk of being a lesbian, loudly saying: “I’m so into men!”
Feli is strongly defending her sexual orientation after her performance with a female fan at last month’s 4Syte TV Pool Party, seemed to suggest her interest in women on social media.
“Gee, it is not like that. I am not a lesbian, I date men. What happened on the night has all been miscontrued. I had come to realise that any time there is a pool party, you don’t get to see people in the pool having fun so when it was my turn to perform at that event, I decided to perform with a fan and that was it. We were just having fun.
“Talking about our compromising posture, we were in a Swan floater and there was no enough room, hence there was nothing we could do. That was why we were that close,” she said in an interview with Showbiz.
“Honestly, I don’t want to be seen in that light, let me clear the air once again, I am not a lesbian, I am into men, I don’t have those traces, not at all,” she added.
Apart from that performance, Feli Nuna has strong love for boots, sneakers, T-shirts and shorts, outfits that are perceived to be for tomboys who are stereotyped to be lesbians, another point that supports the previous allegations but she still stood by the same answer.
“I’m so girly that you have no idea, I just love to wear anything that makes me comfortable and that is my style.
That is not to say that I don’t do high heels, sometimes I want to look sexy so I wear them,” she said.
She explained, “I love to wear boots because, it makes me comfortable and smart, I am able to move about and do things without restrictions.”
Talking about who she really is and what she wants to be known for, Feli said, “I am a fun loving person who is passionate about music, I respect people, I am God-fearing, hardworking and not one who likes to procrastinate.”
Responding to how her music journey has been so far, the Afro Pop/Afro Beat singer said, “I was signed on to Lynx Entertainment in 2012, I released a song but went on a two-year break to study the music scene, work on my brand, craft and I made a comeback in 2015 and it has been amazing since then.”
Feli Nuna has graced and thrilled fans at events like Mercedes Benz Africa Fashion Week, Live Fm’s AQUA RAVE and 4syte TV’s Pulse Pool Party, Coke Studio among others.
She is known for songs like, Awola, I Like Am, Afro Magic, Gelaway and Lose Control.
