Gov't declares Monday July 28 a public holiday...
The Ministry of Interior has given the clearance and declared Monday, July 28, 2014, as a Public Holiday.
This was issued in a statement signed by Kwesi Ahwoi, Minister of Interior, on Monday and it says the day marks the celebration of Eidul Fitr.
"The general public is hereby reminded that Monday 28 July, 2014, which marks the celebration of Eidul-Fitr is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country."
