Avram Grant names provisional 26-man squad for AFCON 2017 but drops Latif Blessing...
A 26-man provisional Ghana Blackstars squad for the 2017 African Cup of Nations Cup competition (AFCON 2017) which excludes the current local best player, Latif Blessing, has been named by Avram Grant, coach of the Ghana Blackstars.
The team which is lead by Captain Asamoah Gyan, and Andre Dede Ayew as the assistant captain will begin an 11-day training tour in the UAE on Tuesday before embarking on their final journey to Gabon on January 13 for the main competition.
